News and Events

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) hosts and joins campus events to connect with students, faculty, and staff. We aim to build relationships, raise awareness about accessibility, and share supports that help students thrive by reducing barriers and ensuring equal access in partnership with other campus support offices.

Animal Companions Event Friday October 17, 2025, 12PM - 2PM Come meet some four-legged friends/companions who bring comfort, connection, and calm. While you’re there, connect with the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) team to learn more about the support and services we can provide to help students thrive at Brown. Whether you’re looking for a moment to relax or a reason to smile, we look forward to seeing you there. When you see us at an event, we’re here to answer questions, share resources, and invite conversation about how accessibility can be part of every student’s experience. Whether you’re a student, parent, family member, instructor, or staff member, we welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you in building an inclusive and supportive campus community.

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is excited to host and join campus events as an opportunity to connect with students, faculty, and staff. Our goal is to foster relationships, build awareness about accessibility, and share the supports and services available to help students thrive at Brown.

Our office focuses on reducing disability-related barriers and ensuring equal access through reasonable accommodations. We work in partnership with advising, counseling, and other student support offices so students can have a well-rounded network of care and resources.
